A Very Gay Cabaret is an annual cabaret and variety night in Nelson, celebrating and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community for four years in a row! Featuring professional local and national talent, join us as we sing, swing, shimmy and spin our way through the night. From stripped back acoustic singers to high energy burlesque routines, this two-night-only show will be a fabulous, colourful celebration of all things queer.

Bus News!
This year, we have arranged a private bus from the city centre in Nelson to the venue in Māpua and back again after the show. You can purchase a seat on the bus by choosing a “Let’s Get the Bus Together” ticket when booking the show.
This means if you are based in Nelson city, you don’t have to worry about organising a designated driver or stress about parking, plus you can get to know your fellow party people before the show begins and rave about your favourite moments on the way home! You will receive an email closer to the show dates with details about how to catch the bus! For your safety and privacy, we will not publicly announce the bus pick-up location or time
